stranger than fiction

everyone needs to see this movie.
seriously.

it's a little slow at first, but its not just for kicks and giggles. there's a reason for it.

will ferrell does an amazing job.
as does dustin hoffman, emma thompson, tony hale and maggie gyllennhal.
at least i think thats how you spell her name.

the movie is a great jump-off into a discussion about calvinism.

how much of our life do we control?
is the story already written?
are our choices made for us?
are we supposed to make certain choices one way, but if we choose another we can walk away?

and there's a scene where ferrell is talking to dustin hoffman, and i leaned over to kinna and asked, "doesn't it seem like he's praying?"

its an intelligent comedy. one you don't get that often anymore.
i think i need to see it again.
but you should all see it.
